추석 ( ChuSeok ) Programs for international Visitors in South Korea!

While in the celebration of the Chuseok (Korean Thanks Giving) Day , the 2010 Seoul Design Fair will hold a special events at Seoul (Jamsil) Sports Complex from September 20th to the 26th. 

Visitors of all ages and nationalities can participate in these programs like International Korean Food Cooking Competition, Hangawi Bibimbap tasting sessions, Multicultural Family Eoulim Hanmadang and the World Folk Culture Festival will take place, providing visitors with special opportunities to experience a wide range of global cultures.

Folk dance and music performances of 16 countries from Asia and Europe to the Middle East and Africa will be presented. Various side events including tattoo and henna art, face painting and photo zone will take place.
Haechi Festival

Visitors can see various items using a Haechi character and take pictures with Haechi (a mythical animal selected as symbol of Seoul). They also dress up as a Haechi character.
Red Horse - Drawn Carriage Festival
Held at all times

Children’s car racing Visitors can also make bread by them selves and play Jenga and Korean traditional games such as Yutnori (a board game played by tossing sticks) and Tuho (arrow throwing).

The international arts and cultural event that celebrates the bicycle through film, design, and music. The festival also features various events including performance on the bike and the bicycle rock festival.
